Ready to be a part of Black Girls Teach?
For the past five years, Deidra Fogarty and her team of Black women educators have carved out a space for Black women educators. This space has lead to curated digital events, in-person workshops, and panel discussions that have centered the voices and needs of Black women educators. Yet, as this work has continued, one thing has remained clear:
We need our own space that is for us, by us, off of social media.
A space that centers on Black women educators.
A space where our growth is prioritized.
A space that embodies sisterhood.
Black Girls Teach Empowerment Circle brings together Black women education professionals in a safe space to support, empower, and develop the skills needed to navigate workplace challenges. We help educators seize leadership opportunities and bring our goals to life to have the most positive impact possible on the students, families, and communities we serve.
